You can also self-promote your new domain name by including it on business cards, letterhead, and in e-mail.

Catalyst Web Design (CWD) uses and recommends the name registrar services of Go_Daddy_Software. Go Daddy is well established and ranked as the #1 name registrar in 2002. Their name registration fee is $8.95 per year, the lowest price we could find. (CWD does not receive proceeds from this fee).

Layout and Design

CWD will create a web presence that not only reflects your individuality, but incorporates function and style. Whether the content of your site is business or personal, you are literally inviting the World to your doorstep and we aim to make your first impression last. We can design a custom business logo or include your present logo along with matching color schemes on the site. If you live in the Pittsburgh, PA area we can provide photography support for your site.

Hosting


Once the content of your site is ready for the World to see, CWD will publish these files to a server that is accessible to anyone on the Internet 24 hours a day. After an exhaustive search, CWD uses and recommends the hosting services of The_Host_Group,_Inc. We have found that The Host Group, Inc. offers great service and support with a basic plan (100Mb storage/1.5Gb transfer - this will easily support an average 25 page site with 50 visitors per day) starting at just $9.95 a month. (CWD does not receive proceeds from this fee). The files with your site information can also be uploaded to a host of your choosing.

Maintenance and Updates

Even the best web site will get stale without new content and periodic maintenance. Visitors enjoy new articles, photos, and helpful tips and will visit your site repeatedly if the content is fresh. Updates are usually quick and will ensure you get the most from your Internet investment.
